The main problem with traditional assessment, especially in the area of competences has been the use of self-assessments, ie the person values his own competence level. This entails tremendous handicap of “social desirability”, in other words, to what extent I answer truthfully or answer what I believe is expected as a response. logo overcomes this disadvantage by using not a self-assessment, but a performance test, where the adequacy of the participant’s response is valuated within various situations.
